cities of hope

Spent a great day in drizzly Manchester at the 'Cities of Hope' street art festival in the Northern Quarter. The festival was organised by 'Vestige' a not for profit social justice organisation that uses the Arts to highlight and prompt action on contemporary social issues.

9 local and international artists were either at work, had yet to start or had already finished by the time I opened my camera bag.

It was fun tracking down each piece, often swapping locations with other photographers or graff enthusiasts of all ages. So much colour against a grey Manchester backdrop from C215, Hyuro, Pichiavo, Phlegm, Martin Whatson, Faith47, Nevercrew, Axel Void, Case and a few special guests.
