Hot on the heels of the 2016 Black Rose Ball, the team were eager to start 2017 promo work to tie in with the upcoming Bram Stoker Film Festival and Whitby Goth Weekend. The chosen theme for the 2017 ball is 'Arabian Nights'.
So much effort goes into these shoots; meetings to kick around ideas, mood boards, fabric selection, props, models, stylists, MUA's, venues etc, etc. The De Grey Rooms Cocktail Bar (our studio space) was a hive of activity when I arrived, with set building, props being placed (or still being made), models having their hair & make up done and me setting up lighting and reflectors. All very exciting to be a part of.
